~ Balenciaga Proyect

This was in my second year of my career, in which the first project consisted of acting as if we were the next successors Creative director of the Balenciaga brand. This project had an award which was: the 20 best projects will be exhibited at the Royal Tapestry Factory in Madrid, in which I was one of those students who exhibited.

We study the brand in depth, from the history of Cristobal Balenciaga to the present with Demna Gavasalia. My approach was to take the brand from a more contemporary point of view to mix it with Cristobal's classic haute couture.

This project was carried out individually without the outside help of any pattern maker or seamstress. My final result was a toile created in cotton fabric that consisted of a dress with a visible corset.
